FESPO, Switzerland’s largest holiday and travel fair, is returning in spectacular fashion after a three-year hiatus. With specialists for every continent on site, along with air travel and cruise operators, not to mention around 500 presentations, Messe Zürich will become the heart of the Swiss travel scene from 2 to 5 February 2023 – this year augmented by the special theme of "Freedom on four wheels".

The BERNEXPO GROUPE has decided to postpone both the Holidays Bern fair (13 to 16 January 2022) and FESPO and Golfmesse in Zurich (27 to 30 January 2022) in the coming year due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation and its impact on the tourism industry. The live marketing company is optimistic that future formats – above all, the BEA spring trade fair – will be held next year.

From A for Algeria to M for Martinique all the way to Z for Zimbabwe: this year’s FESPO more than lived up to its motto “World of Travel”. From 30 January to 2 February 2020, around 600 exhibitors presented the world’s most beautiful destinations. This year’s FESPO, which took place at the Zurich Trade Fair site between 25 and 28 January 2018, more than lived up to its maxim of “The whole world in a single location”: no matter whether it was a relaxing holiday in the Caribbean, an adventure tour of Canada, or a journey of discovery through Romania – over the course of four days, the 600 exhibitors offered FESPO’s 65,000 visitors a diverse range of inspiration for their next holiday. A special highlight of the trade fair was the stand of the guest country, Romania, where the State Secretary whet the audience’s appetite for this mystical destination on the opening day.
