Media release: Discscover the world like never before – Curtain Up for FESPO & Golfmesse Zurich 2026
Four trade fair days, five halls full of inspiration, 500 exhibitors and 600 presentations: from 29 January to 1 February 2026, FESPO & Golfmesse Zurich once again fully lives up to its reputation as Switzerland’s largest and most diverse holiday and travel fair. The highlights of the 34th edition include the destinations Costa Rica and Moldova, both new to the show, numerous exhibitor premieres, and the ever-popular diving container. More than 500 new and established exhibitors will present a wide variety of holiday destinations and travel styles from around the world at FESPO & Golfmesse Zurich 2026 at Messe Zürich.
“With five themed halls, we ensure that all our visitors are guaranteed to get into a holiday mood. Whether you have specific travel plans or simply want to stay curious, the fair offers tailored planning tools and on-site specialists for every topic,” explains Show Director Stephan Amstad.
Hall 1 is dedicated to South, Central and North America; Hall 3 transports visitors to the magic of the South and the North; Hall 4 showcases Austria, Italy, Germany and Switzerland; Hall 5 is entirely devoted to golf; and Hall 6 features the diving container as well as exhibitors from Africa, Australia, Asia and other destinations. A popular returnee and exciting premieres For the first time in six years, the much-loved destination Costa Rica is back, captivating visitors with its “Pura Vida” spirit, breathtaking natural beauty—from rainforests and volcanoes to beaches—and extraordinary biodiversity. There are also numerous exhibitor premieres: alongside newcomer Moldova, Aldi Suisse Tours, Railtour Suisse and Eurobus will be exhibiting at Messe Zürich for the first time. Major players such as DERTOUR Suisse, Hotelplan, TPS (Knecht Reisen) and Globetrotter Travel Service will also be present.
The legendary Swiss travel provider is celebrating its 50th anniversary at FESPO & Golfmesse Zurich. “Fifty years of Globetrotter means fifty years of real travel stories. At FESPO Zurich and the Ferienmesse Bern, that’s exactly what we showcase: authentic experiences that touch, shape and stay with you. Visitors immerse themselves in these stories and also have the chance to win a pioneering journey worth CHF 36,000. For five decades, travel has been more than just being on the move—it’s a school of life,” says President André Lüthi. For the second year in a row, visitors can experience the popular diving container by Funny Diving at FESPO & Golfmesse Zurich. Filled with 30 m³ of water and supervised by professionals, it is open to both beginners and certified divers. Everything set for a successful 2026 golf season In 2026, the popular Golfmesse—the most important meeting point for the Swiss golf community—will once again inspire with a diverse and engaging programme. The Forum will feature exciting expert talks focused on the key theme of game improvement, presented by leading industry specialists. Numerous hotels and specialised equipment providers will showcase their latest innovations and share valuable tips for a successful 2026 golf season. After a one-year break, Spain is once again represented at the Golfmesse.
Overall, it is clear that travel continues to be a central focus and is generating strong interest among both exhibitors and visitors. Anna Wittig, Project Manager Golfmesse at FESPO 2026, adds: “Golfmesse 2026 demonstrates how dynamically the sport of golf is evolving. Topics such as game improvement, modern equipment, sustainability and golf travel are clearly in the spotlight. “With a driving range, new products and hands-on presentations, Golfmesse offers a high level of experience and interaction—and remains the most important meeting point for the Swiss golf scene.”
For a relaxed journey, visitors are recommended to use the RailAway combined ticket, which starts the trade fair visit with a comfortable train ride.
